Little Ripper has picked up another award.
The Ripper Group was recognised in their continuing research and development of life saving payloads carried by our specialised search and rescue drones. An Australia Hearts award was awarded to The Ripper Group ‘For daring innovation as they can deliver life saving defibrillators to people who can’t be reached on foot’
The Little Ripper drones can carry a mini defibrillator as part of the drone’s payload. In drone technology, weight is an important factor in the performance of the drone, its battery life and the time spent in the air. All these factors are critical in a quick response time by the drone to save a life.
Each year, more than 30,000 Australians die from cardiac arrest.
