🐨 ✨ Eyes in the Sky for Logan’s Wildlife!
We’ve just completed a Ripper Wildlife Survey in Logan, working in partnership with Logan City Council to locate endangered Koalas and Greater Gliders as part of the Council's conservation and land management plan.
Using our advanced thermal drones, we surveyed over 200 hectares of dense bushland, detecting wildlife with high accuracy and minimised disturbance.
Spotting and tracking these species is vital to protecting them. Accurate data helps councils and conservationists manage habitats, avoid development risks, and focus protection efforts where it’s needed most.
“Councils across Australia are turning to drone-based wildlife surveys because they’re faster, more ethical, and more cost-effective than traditional methods,”
says Jason Young, CEO of Ripper Corp. “They allow for real-time insights, non-invasive detection, and smarter planning decisions that help protect our most iconic species.”
With 10 years in the drone industry, Ripper Corp brings unmatched experience to the field. We pride ourselves on:
✅ Australia’s most experienced drone pilots
✅ World-class drones and thermal sensors
✅ An ethical, proven wildlife detection methodology trusted by governments, researchers and land managers.
This work in Logan is part of a growing national shift toward smarter, faster, and more humane wildlife monitoring - enabling land managers to make better-informed decisions that support both biodiversity and community development.
🌡️ With cooler ground temperatures, now’s the perfect time to book a thermal wildlife survey, when detection rates are at their highest during winter.
